Rebecca founded Bettie Bomb, Inc. in 2005 after working heavily in Chicago’s hospitality scene. She gained experience quickly working with Lettuce Entertain You concepts’ Shaw’s Crab House, VTK and SCOOZI! as well as Japonais, Le Colonial and Weber Grill Restaurants. Today, with over 15 years experience specializing in hospitality and beyond, Rebecca focuses on local businesses and regional divisions in the health & wellness, beauty, retail, fashion and philanthropic spaces. From full marketing campaigns to strategic event promotion, she has represented such names as Francesca’s Restaurant Group, Fertility Centers of Illinois, Amy Morton’s AMDP Restaurant Group, Egg Harbor Cafe, Terlato Wines, Fry the Coop and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
A top on-the-ground source for the Chicago market, Rebecca often serves as a local PR liaison to national brands and agencies. She has assisted with openings and product launches for companies including Wine Enthusiast, Tommy Bahama, Lava Lamp, Paradise 4 Paws, Intimacy (now Rigby & Peller), Pink Taco, Snap Kitchen, Universal Standard, Martha Stewart Weddings. As needed, her reach goes beyond Chicago, helping clients reach target audiences in top markets across the country.
Rounding out her experience, Rebecca excels in event promotion, working on conferences and galas to multi-day festivals. Managing media on-site, coordinating run of show and handling pre & post-coverage, she has assisted with Chicago House Speaker Series presenting Whoopi Goldberg, Kenneth Cole, Hillary Clinton and Laverne Coxe, Grey Goose Chicago Beach Polo World Cup, Taylor Street Festa Italiana, Good Food EXPO, International Table Tennis Festival and Taste Talks.

Laura has over 15 years of PR and marketing experience specializing in the hospitality and lifestyle industries. In addition to working at two premier boutique PR agencies in Chicago, Laura’s most recent role included Senior Partner at Isabelli Partners (formerly Isabelli Media Relations), where for over eight years, she guided strategy for some of the nation’s most talented chefs, such as Virtue’s award-winning Chef Erick Williams, restaurants, including Time Out Market Chicago, Bonci Pizza, Italian Village Restaurants, premier events like Chicago Restaurant Week, Chicago Gourmet and James Beard Foundation’s Taste America Chicago, and hotels such as the iconic InterContinental Chicago, ACME Hotel and Marriott Marquis Chicago.
With a specialty in national media relations, she has long-standing relationships with press of all genres. These relationships have resulted in placements in premier outlets like the Today Show, New York Times, bon appétit, NBC Nightly News, USA Today, Food & Wine and others, and have launched major tourism attractions, inspired weeks-long reservations lists and catapulted careers.
In addition to leading local and national campaigns for small independently owned restaurants to corporately-owned hotels, Laura also excels at event production, cookbook launches, local and national brand launches and openings, crisis communications, including the most recent COVID-19 pandemic, and more.
